K Implant DFCO parameters

Post by Pete » Wed May 23, 2007 11:24 pm

I have a K Implant with GO.26 which is running an 1800 K on Throttle bodies using TPS and not MAP.

I have DFCO enabled the car has a tendancy to abruptly kick and and pickup when going from deceleration to a small throttle opening, this typically occurs when in slow moving traffic.

Can anyone advise what DFCO Rtd and DFCO Rtd DK parameters do?
I assume I should try adjusting the TPS and Ld parameters to restore fueling earlier. Should I be looking at these in conjunction with TPS Accel and TPS Decel tables?

DFCO Of Ld 2
DFCO Off Spd 1800
DFCO Off TPS 2
DFCO On Ld 3
DFCO On Spd 2300
DFCO On TPS 2
DFCO Rtd -15
DFCO Rtd DK 20
DFCO Rtd Spd 2200

Pete,

Thanks for the post. Have passed your question on to one of our engineers. In the meantime i have uploaded the EM20 Generic Manual to the downloads section. The RoverK is basically a mod of the EM20 so should give you some ideas.

It sounds like it is an accel problem not a decel problem (DFCO - Deceleration Fuel Cut off). If you send me your map i can have a look for you.

You may also want to check your throttle is opening smoothly, a big increase in area will give you a jolty pickup.

Hi,
I reduced the value in the ignition advance in the ignition map for low throttle openings. Simply retarded by 1 or 2 degrees. Progression is now much more smooth.

Much appreciated.

thanks
Peter
