Transmission Control
GEMS has been developing active transmission control systems for various applications since 1988. These include:
- Automatic and semi-automatic gearbox transmission control, including support for H pattern and sequential gearboxes.
- Clutch control including pull away.
- Active differential control for four wheel drive transmission.
- Active damping.
Where standard transmission controllers cannot meet the application requirement, GEMS can develop a bespoke solution. Our engineering team works directly with customers to understand the transmission architecture and develop control systems that fit precisely - from initial concept through to calibration and deployment.
All GEMS transmission control systems require GWv4 software for calibration.
