Hello,

I have just bought a brand new GEMS DA36 display, but I cannot find any informations over the website here about this product. I know this was used on the works Escort WRCs, but I don't know much more. Is there a manual anywhere to start to work with it ?

Also can this display work with P8 ECU or does it has to work with T6 or else ?

Thanks in advance for the answers,

Matt.

Hi the DA36 was fitted to the 1997 works Escort WRC prepared by MSport and also has been used on various privateer built Escorts and other Group N and WRC cars.
There are various specs of both hardware and software if the unit has a serial number we may be able to identify it.
It will probably set up to read the CAN from the Pectel T6 as well as data from a DA97 data logger.
It can be set to read a serial stream from a GEMS P8 unit but not Pectel one.

Your other unit is a pre 1996 Diff control system monitor. this unit logger data from one or both of the diff controller on a FFD designed gearbox. It is noth the actual controller. It is not useful for anything else.
Hope this helps

Hello,

The serial number is : 01x65 and it is a brand new unit, tested 15th of January 2002 by Mr. Emms.

I haven't any connector for it, do you know where I could find them ? And also I would be happy if I could get the manual for it, as I have got it oem.

Cheers,

Matt.
