Post by jeanmi30 » Tue May 19, 2015 3:52 pm

Hello
I just have change my laptop for a second hand Dell Latitude D830 with windows7 OS and he seems that the card are not recognised by the system. No driver find.
Have you some solution or does I need to install windows XP in order to be able to read the PCMCIA logging cards?
Best regards

I think that we might have covered this before...

Have a look at the following thread... http://www.gems.co.uk/gemsforum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=485 This may have been a hardware issue only, so I will see what I can find out about Windows 7 drivers for a PCMCIA card and will post it here.

Hello
Thanks for your reply.
At the moment, the OS see the card but cannot identify or find a driver for.

I am finding it hard to find a Win7 driver for a PCMCIA card, although download.cnet.com appears to have a driver called pcmcia-driver-1-2-zip that might do the trick.

Otherwise, you might have to run XP under Win7.

Unfortunately, I can't lay my hands on a PCMCIA card to test on. Will keep you posted.
