It appears that there has been some issues with getting the GEMS licence (USB) dongle to be recognised.

Therefore, if you are having an issue, please try the following before calling it in. These notes have worked for folks running XP, 7 (32 and 64 bit), 8 and 10....

i) Unzip the attached file and put it somewhere safe, so as not to get it confused with any previous versions that you might have installed.

ii) With the dongle removed from the USB slot, run the application (as ‘Administrator’ if possible) and check the 'Uninstall' box in the bottom left-hand corner.

iii) Once the ‘uninstall’ has completed successfully, reboot your PC/Laptop.

iii) Still with the dongle removed from the USB slot, run the software again (as ‘Administrator’ if possible) but this time don't check the uninstall box. Use ‘USB’ and ‘Standalone’ options

iv) Only insert the dongle when the software instructs you to do so and let the installation complete.

v) Once completed, check that the dongle has been recognised in the device manager.

I hope that this helps and you can always download the latest version from Keylok's, website at http://www.keylok.com/support-center/downloads
