Hi,
I have a question in regards to the plug-n-play ecu for a 2.0L 2004 WRX STi (JDM) 5plug ecu. The plug-n-play ecu that GEMS have for that engine, can it be used/modified to work with a drive by wire throttle? I will be putting a drive-by-wire throttle body on the intake, but not sure if I can use the Plug-n-play ECU, and still make it work, or if I need to go to a standalone ECU. I would like to keep the original harness/wiring, and just add the electronic throttle body and pedal and wiring.
So my question is, will the ECU work with the drive by wire throttle body, and can it control it for idle and ALS / LC functionality.

Hi,
DBW is available on 2008 models onwards, so sorry, not available for 2004.

Idle control, ALS (Full and Mild modes) and Launch are available.
