Is it possible to upgrade a Subaru99 v2.23 pnp unit to a newer firmware version? From what I understand, the latest version is 2.32. Is it possible to download and is there a new manual for that particular firmware version available?

Would it give me any new usable functionality. From what I read, launch controll is a part of the 2.32 firmware for Subaru99 and that would be great to have.

BTW: The car is a rallycar mostly used on snow and gravel

Sorry for the delay in replying,
Apart from updating the .GIN file, an EPROM change has to be carried out.

You wouldn't have to send the unit back to us as we can send it to you but, of course, there is a fee. Contact sales via email for the details.

Regarding the Launch Control, I just did some reading on the GEMS site it self. http://www.gems.co.uk/?content=pages&id=impreza-implant
Under features it says:
* Launch Control

Under Specifications it says:
* Impreza Plug N Play ECU's are currently available for all 2L cars of years '94 to '10

Does the latest FW come With Launch Control?

Unfortunately, the upgrade to 2.32 for this ECU will not allow launch control. Sorry.

I have had my Impreza MY99 ECU upgraded to Fw 2,32. Do you have a manual for that vsersion?
