Hi,

I am the owner of a Gems Impreza PnP ECU STI v3/4 and an attached CDC PWM diff controller. The ecu is currently tuned to 99 octane for a rally application.

I had a look at the board the other day and the 3 pin plug broke off. The circuit board is ok, but for the future I want to solder 3 wires to the board and mount the connector remotely. Can you provide me with the orientation of the connector so that I can re-solder the connector?

Thanks, Greg in Canada

Hello Greg,

Do you have an STi 3 or a 4 as they are different ECU's i belive. Also what year is it as the board design changed. If you have a serial number this would answer all.

Thanks
Ed

Thanks for the picture Ed, my problem is that the connector was directly soldered to the board, I don't have any lead wires so I can't tell which way the round connector goes back on the board.

Apologies,

On the Subaru 97 the green wire shown on the picture would be the pin opposite the Lug on the 3 pin plug you have. This shopuld mean that the locatting lug on the connector is almost facing the closest corner of the board.

Hope this helps
Ed
