Base Map Requests Here!

Post by R!C0 » Fri May 09, 2008 12:00 pm

Hi All,

As there have been a few, i've started this post for requesting base ecu maps. I will then upload base maps to the download section here

Please post in this thread and inlcude, product name and version, and if you have it, the serial number.

Also specify what kind of car, i.e rally, trackday.

*Edit* Thanks to Pete for the upload, others feel free to upload your own base maps!

Thanks

Rico

Duratec base map request

Post by DarrenElmslie » Sat Feb 07, 2009 10:04 pm

If anyone's got such a thing. I'd be desperate for a base map to let me run my newly-built engine up to temperature and get some confidence everything's fine before taking it to be mapped!

For info, the ECU would be
EM36

Engine would be
2.0L
ported head but standard valves
Jenvey 45s
3.7 bar fuel
Bosch 'green' injectors

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,

We need to know things like the timing pattern and type of sensors you use. if these are standard then just the type of engine (i.e. Duratec) will do we might be able to help.

Thanks
Ed

Thanks Ed!

My apologies I forgot to state that, yes, timing pattern and all sensors are standard.

If there's anything else you need, please let me know.

Hi,

Good to know things are standard that always makes it easier, But standard to what? what type of engine is it? K-Series, Duratec, Honda V-TEC etc. Once I know this i might be able to help.

Thanks
Ed

Sorry Ed, It's an '06 Ford Duratec HE. I'd put Duratec in the post title but hadn't made a mention of it in the body. Standard ford trigger pattern, cams are Kent's D-TEC50 kit (296deg duration). I'm no longer using the cam-sensor for what that's worth.

Hi Darren,

Attached to this message is a Duratec calibration for the latest version of EM36. It has been checked over and should be a good map for your application.

That's superb. Thanks a million Rico!

Looking forward now to getting the engine in and running, then I'll get the car over to Steve Greenald to work his magic on the rollers.

Thanks again and all the best,
Darren

Hi,
Could you send me an EVO X map with aircon setup. I'm running the MAP sensor as load.
Thanks

Hi there,

Unfortunalty active air conditioning is something we are currently working on. We are short of an actual road car to try and work out how to activate it at the moment as it isn't as simple as a switch. As soon as we manage to get a road car in that we can work on we will be releasing a new version of firmware with airconditioning control.

Thanks
Ed

Hi

Attached is a calibration for a 60-2 wasted spark engine with no cam sync but sequential injection. You may need to adjust ign offset until the spark is in the right place as normal. This calibration uses IGN 1 and IGN 2 and Fuel 1,2,3,4 pins. However the map is for a 1800cc engine so will need adjusting for your injector size. Right click on the fuel map and use the injector size adjuster to do this. Assume the fuel pressure is the same. I reccomend this map only for starting the engine. You should remap your engine before running it under any significant load.

Hope this helps
Ed
