I have an Impreza here with monitor showing code 193 and also flashing up ems pipe...any ideas?

What model of ECU..?
What is the Serial Number..?
What is the firmware version..?
I do not recognise the code. Are you sure that it is a G.E.M.S. ECU..?

EMS - probably Engine Management System.
Pipe - probably a 'Google Translate' typo
CODE 193 - no idea. This code not generated by GEMS hardware, as far as I know.
