Hi Mark,

See attached Subaru 96 v2.28 map.

Let me know how you get on with it.

Best Regards

hi there, thank you for the base map. its a great starting point for the vehicle we working on but i have one major issuse. i cant rescale the TPS switch on the min and max setting in "options" is there any other way of scaling the TPS as we are using a 98TPS on the 96CAR but doing this it seems that the switch is out side the given parimeters

Hi there,

Are you setting the TPS min and TPS max to just below and just above the readings you get when you look at them in the paramters box with no throttle and full thottle? You should be easily inside the limits so i would recommend checking the rotation and wiring of the 98 when compared to the 96TPS sender.

Hope this helps

after posting my last post i set to work at looking into the wiring side of things once more. I have now got the tps angle signal (when looking at the TPS angle table) correct but with this now working i have found that my TPS to load is now not reading correct.

i cant try the vehicle on the road yet as i'm still awaiting brakes for it so i dont know if load will read more (full scale when being driven)

i'm am correct in think that these tables should match?

thank you for the help
mark
p.s this is my first go with gems so fingers crossed i can get this to work correct

Hi there,

Your tps to load is only used when the ECU detects that your MAP sensor has failed. Therefor the values here are 'safe' as in they are deliberatly high so as to avoid running the engine too weak and too advance. the top third of values should be around maximum.

Hope this helps

Ed
