44-1 trigger settings

Post by adeyspec » Thu May 22, 2014 8:00 am

hi there, is it possible to setup an ecu for 44-1 trigger, looking at the tooth control table i cant make out what i would need to enter to make it work. I know some of the cheaper on the market diy ecu's can deal with it (megasquirt) but unsure on the gems?

Unsure which of our ECUs you are enquiring about and for what vehicle.

Our currently popular generic ECU (EM36/40) can cater for timing wheels up to 60 teeth using the Tooth Control Table and an overview is available from our FAQ section on the website. Check it out and there is a wealth of info there...

Dependent upon the Synchronisation Strategy you employ in the calibration, you can set a timing wheel strategy with a tooth count into the hundreds. Check out the Tooth Control and Sync Strategies documents in the link mentioned earlier....
