Jumpers on ECU

Hello i get my first 2 gems ecu one Subaru 2002 Typ R 0.75 and a Subaru 2002 Group N 2.61 now i put the ecu in an european car all 2 works now i take a spec C Ra from japan and the ecu dont work. I know from motec there are 2 screws for the japanese cars. Can i do that also with jumpers on gems ecus or i have to change the wires from the pins?

Hi,

There are two white jumpers to the right of the connector when looking at the ECU from the front. Turn these round 90 degrees so they are horizontal rather then vertical.

Thanks Edh this works on the TypR Ecu but my GrN doesnt have this jumpers There only a Jumper 1 and 3

Hi,

Apologies, the group N will require you to move the ignition power between pin A5 to pin A14 on the plug
so whichever one has ignition power at the moment swap it to the other.
Before you do this, if you haven't already, check the ecu is powered by trying to connect to it.
