Have you got a general release date for GWv4 yet?

PI's revamped mapping software is out very soon, it would be a shame for GEMS to miss the boat!

I'll take that as a "no idea" then.

I was playing with it last night and, my TPS/Load question aside, I find it much easier to get around and find what I want.

The only thing I think that is missing for a relative novice like me is some context sensitive help. For instance if you selected a parameter is there an easy way of getting a more fuller description of what it does etc. I'll have a play with the tutorials tonight, more may become clear!

Support for descriptions of all types of object (parameters, options, tables, maps) has been built into GWv4, but requires updating of the GIN files which will take time. GWv4 also supports categorization of objects into relevant categories(i.e. Fuel, ignition etc) but also requires the GIN file to updated. New versions of GIN files with these descriptions and categories will start to roll out shortly.

Rico
