Re: GEMSda50 wiring help
Apologies for the delay in replying (was away and folks busy here so the forum was neglected for a day or two).... I'll have a look and see what I can find regarding a Cozzie wiring diagram and post what I find here. I know that we have done a little work with Escorts but can't tell you exactly what...

Re: Alignment of gyroscope readings to vehicle axis
You would need to contact a chassis dynamisist. I'll ask if anybody here can answer your query and post any responses here. BR, RickS Ps. You might want to take a look at - philsal.co.uk/projects/imu-attitude-estimation - Possible what you might need but I have asked our developers to let me know if...

Re: GEMSda50 wiring help
OK... I happen to have a copy of a wiring diagram for a DA50 that should suit your purposes. If you need to program it, you'll probably nee the DLOG software which we might still have. I will have to check. I have attached a manual for that for your interest. Best regards, RickS PS. As a matter of i...

Re: MINI6CYL Information
Rather than post the .INI file here, provided that you find it, send it over to the 'tech . support' email address, so that I can pass it to the department who will try to resurrect it.

Re: MINI6CYL Information
Well - Look here..!
I have managed to track down a small document, showing the 15 way main connector for the '3 injector model'.
Lets keep this just between us, otherwise everyone will want a copy..!
Regards, RickS

Re: MINI6CYL Information
Still searching for a pin-out description for the MINI-MISS6CYL to give it is's full moniker but I have attached a small photo, showing the layout of the jumper (JP2 in this case) for the comms. Red = Tx Blue = Rx Green = Ground Is the main connector a 15 pin 'D' type, similar to the one in the shot...

Re: MINI6CYL Information
Gosh.... Yes, these will date back to the late 90's, 1997 I believe. They were based on the MINI-ZETA, which had 2 fuel and 2 ignition ports. One of the ignition ports was sacrificed to provide 3 fuelling ports, so they must have run semi-sequentially with a distributor. I'll see what documentation ...

Re: Calibration Conversion
Hi again, well done so far.... There are a few options that govern the Engine Speed parameter. The two main ones are Cycle Rev and Speed Mul. You should also ensure that parameter Rev Time is producing a value and if it isn't check that you're seeing TPERnn values, which will show whether the ECU is...

Re: Calibration Conversion
Can certainly have a look but whether we have something for a '6', I'm really not sure.
If I find something that is suitable, I'll post it here. Might be a BMW or a 993 though....
In the meantime, I have attached a a document with suggested pin-out options for an EM36, that might prove useful.

Re: Wideband on Subaru2002 iss.D sub85
I will check this and confirm with you later today but I know that the Lambda input for this ECU has a x3 gain. So, from that I guess, that the differential input would be -1.0v to +1.0v. I am aware that the LC-1 has been successfully used with LAN85 code, so I think that you will OK but I will conf...

Re: Calibration Conversion
By the looks of things, the OMEX equivalent of .GIN files are hard coded (buried) in MAP4000, so you will not be able to use it to convert an OMEX cal to a GEMS cal using this method. You cannot load a GEMS .GIN file into MAP4000, sorry...

Re: Wideband on Subaru2002 iss.D sub85
Hi... I'll check on the wideband compatibility but to do that I'll need the version number of the firmware that is installed in your 2002. Any chance that you can get me that information and pass it on..? I know that you WILL need an external amplifier (such as the AEM unit) and also note that the L...

Re: Calibration Conversion
Good morning. I am assuming that you are using MAP4000 to do your calibration work on your OMEX ECU. Now I don't use it personally but as it closely resembles our GWv4, I suspect that there is a 'Convert' option under the 'File' tab. This is usually for converting from one 'version' of an ECU to a d...

Re: Escort Cosworth GEMS P8 connection with PC?
That does not sound familiar for a GEMS P8 ECU. All of the public releases that I know of were V2, not V1... When you try to connect using GWv4, if it asked for a .GIN file then it is probably a GEMS unit. If it doesn't, it probably isn't. Also, if you look at the PCB, the initials G.E.M.S. are prob...
