Re: dlog97 for dlog94 error in VMMAPPER
Yes, sent to "mart0389" on a 'Yahoo account' - 5 days ago. Can you let me know what logger you are using (serial number would also help.!). I'm not sure whether you will have any joy with reading an SRAM card with an operating system later than XP. I know that we have had to resort to using adaptors...

Re: dlog97 for dlog94 error in VMMAPPER
Link sent to eMail address that we hold for you. Re. the SRAM cards and PCMCIA slots on new operating systems, I really am not sure. I will have a word with our Technical Director as he tends to look after all of the GEMS 'Legacy' kit. He might be able to throw some light on this and I'll post his r...

Re: dlog97 for dlog94 error in VMMAPPER
I have searched our archive and can't find that file... Do you mean "GEMSSRAM.vxd" (double 'S')..? As it's a .VXD file, it's a Virtual Device Driver, so I won't be able to attach it here (Forum limitations..!). I doubt that I will be able to eMail it to you either, as many IPs object to this type of...

Re: subaru 96 v2.28 new map sensor fitting
An update from our Technical Director... The Mbar C and M options only effect is to scale parameter Map Pressure, not Load. They do not affect the mapping in any way. Subaru 96 has 17 load sites 0 - 160 standard map sensor 2.3 bar absolute as far as I can remember Subaru 99 has 14 load sites 0 -130 ...

Re: subaru 96 v2.28 new map sensor fitting
They are arbitrary units used by GEMS when they were building Units before my time.
This is the information given in the manual but I have forwarded your comments to our Technical Director to see if he can explain better.

Re: Code 193 ems pipe
What model of ECU..?
What is the Serial Number..?
What is the firmware version..?
I do not recognise the code. Are you sure that it is a G.E.M.S. ECU..?

Re: Subaru 99 V2.31 RS232 logging info
OK.... Just had a discussion with our Technical Director, who tells me that the feature/software we're discussing, is now embedded in GWv4 and is called Serial Data Logging & Monitoring. And that is what it does, it logs and monitors, so does not 'generate' a serial data stream. As you have no licen...

Re: Subaru 99 V2.31 RS232 logging info
A fair bit of head scratching and some think that there might be some old legacy software buried somewhere. It's being looked into. In the meantime, have you tried ... www.aggsoft.com/com-port-emulator.htm ...? From their comprehensive website, Aggsoft state that the COM Port Data Emulator is a tool...

Re: Subaru 99 V2.31 RS232 logging info
No - I/we use external engine simulators (similar to a 'JimStim' if you have heard of that), that generates all the engine signals (Crank, Cam, Temps and pressures) to test an ECU. If the type of ECU being tested allows the transmission of a logged Serial and/or CAN telemetry stream, then that is pa...
