Re: correcting gps speed\accelerometers in GDA\AEMDATA
Not as far as I am aware but I will check with the developers.... Also, the two pieces of software are not identical. To use the 'maths' channels, you would need GDA-Pro if using the GEMS software and I don't know if the AEMdata has this feature. You would be better off asking them directly. BR, Ric...

Re: Evo X ACD Bleed Procedure
It does sound as if there is an air lock.... I've not come across this pump before, so may not be of much help. All that I can remember being told, is that, to get the ACD pump to cycle, turn the car's ignition on with the accelerator pedal floored. This will usually cause the pump to run for severa...

Re: CAN BUS telemetry problem
I have noticed, that in you CAN Tx panel, you have not specified a CAN arbitration code to put your selected parameters on. On the right hand side of the panel, there is an option 'CAN ID'. You should put a different code in here for each of the three messages that this ECU transmits.... In the atta...

Re: CAN BUS telemetry problem
The CAN Telemetry Setup panel look to be set up OK but without looking at the transmitted CAN bus with a 'sniffer' (like P-CAN) it is hard to tell whether the EM40 is sending any data... You can also test if the bus is active with an oscilloscope, if you don't have the interrogation software. Regard...

Re: DA3: Details about Serial Input
I have promoted this to development, as apparently this was a 'one-off' for you, built last year. I wasn't aware, apologies. TechSupport doesn't usually get involved with special builds. They will be in contact with you directly, when they have comments/observations or need more input. I think that ...

Re: DA3: Details about Serial Input
Good morning Karsten.... I see what you are attempting but I don't think that any of the Engine Management System RS232 protocols, that are available in the DA3, will suit the purpose that your after. As the DA3 uses asynchronous serial (RS232), would this match the SPI in your Arduino unit as I tho...

Re: Traction Control
Hi again Mark.... I had a search through the 01v28 cals that I have access to and when that came up dry, I had a look through the 00v89, which gave me the same result. So, going through my O's and S's I cam up with a cal with some settings that look to be able to accomplish the task. I've created (a...

Is this for an EM36 or a different ECU..? Also, what version of firmware please...?

Re: CAN BUS RX
Once you have opened your calibration in GWv4, there is a 'Telemetry' tab (4th one along I believe). The last option should be 'CAN RX setup' and it is in here that you specify the arbitration codes for the can messages. In the EM36 you can specify 4 messages with 4 words for each message. You can m...

Re: GWv4 - ETHERNET ECU Simulator
Good morning... What particular ECU do you have (Serial Number would be useful) and what data are you trying to analyse and have you already created a suitable .STF file..? If you wish to view logged engine parameters, I would suggest that you use either the PC logging facility or the on-board loggi...

Re: Nissan gti-r gems
Hi again,
Just had confirmation Astarozna, that COPs are not possible with this ECU as it was designed for distributed spark only.
You would need an ECU with assignable coil outputs to be able to achieve what you're after... Sorry.
Best regards, RickS

Re: Nissan gti-r gems
Please can you tell me what version of firmware is installed, or the Serial Number might help. As far as I can remember, the GTiR was set to run with stock timing components, as the constructions regulations stipulated (this being a homologation requirement). I believe that the ignition delivery sys...
