Re: Basemap Subaruk2S2.61
Hi,
Sorry i don't quite understand, do you wish to changes the pins the fans are operated from?
I believe the speedometer is not related to the ECU on this car.
Thanks
Ed

Re: How to configure distance with DA1 logger
Hi Ah i see ok, Yes you can plot against distance so that it appears in the top right of the screen under time. Construct the maths channel and name it Distance (It's very mportant you call it Distance as DLOGG regognises this). Then select maths and Re-calculate. Now select Graphs, Plot Type and di...

Re: How to configure distance with DA1 logger
Hi,
If you intergrate speed the maths channel should display as normal data so you do not need to log anything else freeing up log space.
Hope this helps

Re: EM40 suitability
Hi, The Scalers and offsets in the options should get you to a reasonable figure which you can relate to mBar but they won't be displayed as mBAr. Your dash should have tables for raw values vs mBAr and this is how it is usually converted. If you are viewing the logged data then DLogg will convert t...

Re: EM40 suitability
Hi, The EM40, like most GEMS ECU's has configurable inpiuts and outputs. So if there something you don't need, like rotor air out temp for example, then you can use this as an oil pressure input depending on what sensor you have will depend on if you need pull up resistor needed ( a breif modificati...

Re: Logo format in DA37 screen
Hi,
You need a program called Image Tosser. This is part of the Latest install pack for MDE 37 in the downloads section of this website. Convert your image to .bin and upload it in MDE37, under file upload logo. Where ever ypu place a logo your image will now appear.
Hope this helps

Re: EM40 suitability
Hi The EM40 will do everything you have mentioneed but it will use timing inputs and map signal inputs in order to drive the injectors (these pins can have there function changed in the software) obviously you will loose the functionality of these (MAP 2 and Timing input 3) And you will be using 12 ...

Hi,
We need to know things like the timing pattern and type of sensors you use. if these are standard then just the type of engine (i.e. Duratec) will do we might be able to help.
Thanks

Re: EM36 suitability for my application?
Hi Darren. Basics fine it will easily do these it has an input for 2 lambda sensors if required. Extra features are also fine as the EM36 has Programable analogue inputs (16 of them) which you can use. There are extra user tables which allow these analogue signals to be converted into meaningful val...

Hi, Check the idle motor postion using the option idle speed table tou will be able to see the position of the idle motor. also try switching the option Idle FB invert between on and off, check your idle max speed is below 2000 as well as it sounds like your idle motor is remaining open. if you look...

Re: Subaru typR ecu TPS and boostproblem
HI,
Sorry i need a little clarification, do you mean the TPS signal takes a long time to respond compared to pedal movement?
I pressume you have tried changing your Boost target map and Wastegate map?
Thanks
Ed

Re: PI Omega display
Hi,
You should be able to connect to the dash and change the serial stream protocol. But CAN should work. The GEMS displays can recieve comunications from Pectel ECU's maybe this is a feature the PI display doesn't have. It's really a matter for PI i'm afraid.
Hope this helps

Re: MAP sensor
Hi,
It depends on the range of the MAF sensor and how far away you are from standard boost, you'll find it's usually accurate within range. Most people use MAP and AIT because they are more comfortable with it so there's not much wrong with switching to MAP just in case.
Thanks
Ed
