Re: Subaru85 00V77 no longer outputs 9600 baud serial stream
The baud rate for the serial transmission, is held in the 'Telemetry' tab in GWv4.
If you click on the 'Serial Telemetry Set-up' option, the baud rate can be seen in the right-hand panel.
Thanks for asking about this as it's a little hard to find, if you don't know what to look for...

Re: Subaru85 00V77 no longer outputs 9600 baud serial stream
Good morning.... From our records, it looks as if the V0.77 update was done in October 2014 (Job #69109). It was also back in December the same year for an Over-Voltage issue and the comms was damaged (Job #69275). This issue might be as a result of this, as the telemetry uses the comm port. Can you...

Re: Tacho Gauge Issue
Sounds as if it is not scaled correctly.
Does 'Pinned to the Right' mean full deflection or '0'...? Some tachometers read anti-clockwise...

Re: Splitting log into laps
There is a 'Rotation' option in the Track Editor (bottom/middle of the panel) or check the units used in the GPS parameters. Regarding the lap counts, I am assuming that you have no 'beacon' input from a trackside transmitter, which is why you are having to input the beacon. Unfortunately, I cannot ...

Re: Subaru2002 - ECU - Dash Tacho correlation
Good morning. Not sure what the 5th tooth reference (28) is in there for. The manual states, "If table value set 'On',then tacho drive will change state, typically 4 'ons' will be required per rev". Possibly someone has been playing with the calibration in the past and it's an error that has gone un...

Re: USB Drivers
Apologies for the delay. Could you please give us some further information, so that we can make sure that the Editor that you are using matches the LDS4 build that you have. Needed, will be the Serial Number of the LDS4 and the version of the editor that you are using. You can find the unit S/N on t...

Converting a DA1 logger setup to a DA3
If you are currently using a GEMS DA1 (or older) logger and want to transter a good setup, in an .STU file, to a newly acquired DA3, you can accomplish this by using the Conversion feature in GDA of GDA-Pro. Provided that you have the setup file (.STU) that you wish to convert, safely saved on your ...

DA3 Quick Start guide
The GEMS DA3 logger consists of three major components. i) A Flash/Memory Stick, that holds the logged information and is used to transfer a logging setup file to the body of the DA3 logger. ii) The DA3 unit itself. This is mounted in the vehicle and receives the data from the vehicles CAN bus, Seri...

Re: track map issues
I will certainly put this across the desk of the developers but I would definately ask AEM as you will possibly get a quicker answer.. I would also consider attaching the logging setup file and a log file that the setup is producing when you contact them. If you like, please send the same files to o...

Re: USB Drivers
OK... Thanks for the update and I will look into this. A couple of thing to try is that sometimes, later (and faster) PC's try to connect to the LDS4/5 before the displays are ready. If you have one, can you try and connect through a USB hub. This has helped others in the past. Contact me through th...

Re: USB Drivers
That is a shame.... Have you successfully downloaded and reinstalled the (4.00.03) LDS4Editor in your new Laptop from our website. The drivers should load automatically. Please let me know the serial number of the unit, so that I can be sure that you don't need an older version of the editor. If you...
