Re: DA1 logger setup for BR-355 gps module
Seems that I have to combine "Long Mins" and "Long secs" to make one longitudinal channel, and same for latitude. That channel could be used for track creation and position. Am I correct?
Thanks!
Thanks!

DA1 logger setup for BR-355 gps module
Hi! I'm at a loss to what to log and how when BR-355 gps module is connected to DA1 via serial. BR-355 module is supplied by GEMS a couple of years ago. Logger gets datastream from CAN bus and a transponder signal, and they both work great. I tried to read all I could find about NMEA-0183 gps comms ...

Re: EVO9 Mivec trouble
Is this 12-teeth trigger wheel on crank? If yes then much better solution is installing a 36-1, 36-2 or 60-2 trigger wheel instead. This way cam tooth significant edge has no chance of moving too much compared to crank teeth significant edge. With 12 even teeth crank wheel VVC cam tooth has a chance...

Re: X25 ecu aspect file for LSU4.2 lambda sensor
GWv4 asks for X25 02X02.gin-file and I don't have it nor it is loadable from wbesite. I'd appreciate the gin-file or new write of aspect file.RickS wrote:The downloadable aspect version for this lambda will be suitable for 02v06.

X25 ecu aspect file for LSU4.2 lambda sensor
Is there an X25 ecu aspect file for LSU4.2 lambda sensor?
There is one but it is for unknown firmware version. I use 02v06 at the moment.
Thanks!

Re: EVO Board not firing coils
... it works on stock ECU, LINK, Autronic, ViPec and Hydra... But won't do anything on GEMS. Might be that Gems ecu doesn't pull high enough the ignition signal. This could be checked with oscilloscope to really see what is going on. I bumped into this with some other brand ecu just recently, and i...

Re: Intermitant misfire
Since there is eight injector drivers in EM36 I'd use all of them to drive all eight injectors. But if boost control valve and idle valve are necessary, then PWM1-4 for primary injectors and IGN3-6 for secondary injectors. Also I'd add cam sensor to gain real sequential injection, and get low rpm ar...

Re: Intermitant misfire
"would have been going crazy." Injector assignments are a bit strange, too. Also, User Out 2 and WG out are assigned both to PWM8, and other things. Somewhat untuned fuel map, ehh? Wideband lambda sensor is used for fuelling feedback all the time, I'd use it at N/A area only and below eg. 4000rpm. ...

May we see your calibration? Not so easy to find a problem without it.

Re: VVC on Honda K20A
I think it's option "Sync = Cam2" in firmware versions .00V89 and .V0.89, and some others.
If ON it looks for sync signal on T3, if OFF it looks for sync signal on T2.

Re: Aspect Files Requests
For which ECU? I use mainly EM36 (firmware 00V89), but I think these characterisations are usable for other ecu's as well. EM40 is very similar, and I think that X25 also. Eg. temp sensors if pull-up resistors are same, and coil dwell setup should be same if voltage measurement is checked and adjus...
