Re: ALS for Lancer V2.28
My Apologies yes i was going to mention TPS ALS SW. Yes you are correct: Holding down the throttle when you key on will activate ALS, when TPS ALS SW is ON.

Re: ALS for Lancer V2.28
For a ALS switch, please see manual attached to this post. Check the pin out section which has the pin to use for an anti-lag switch. Look for ALS SWITCH ACTIVE LOW on page 34. A switch connected to this pin, when pulled to ground (0v) will activate PBW/ALS. As far as setting up the anti-lag, you ne...

Re: EMS Security
The Dongle is security for the GEMS software GWv3, without it you can not connect to an ECU. It has nothing to do with passwording the ECU calibration, which as previously mentioned is handled by the GEMS ECU, a feature which the AEM ECUs do not have. If you are bypassing the dongle you are essentia...

Re: EMS Security
Hi Jason, The security for the ECU is handled by the ECU itself. As for more detailed information, i'm afraid i can not give out details of how our security system works, as to preserve the integrity of this system, so it remains useful for the many others using it to protect their work. I realise w...

Re: 3 Rotor Wankel with old ECU
Hi, Apologies for giving incorrect information, i have had some other people here look at your problem, and we realise that the software was ours (very old! not many people here were around then!) But i'm afraid that the ECU is very old and will only work with that software and will not be compatiab...

Re: 3 Rotor Wankel with old ECU
Hi,
It sounds like the software needs to be enabled for uploading calibrations. Unfortunatly this is something we can not do as although the unit was made by us the software is owned by Prodrive. I suggest that you contact them. Their details are in our resellers section here

Re: ERROR1 and ERROR2
Hi, In most calibrations the knock sensor is disabled so not really a problem. For the map sensor, have a look at the parameter map raw, with the engine stopped this should be around 80 for barometric pressure. If this is not the case then most likely the sensor or wiring to the sensor is faulty. If...

Hi,
I have attached a manual which covers your version. Yes they are bit patterns, the explanation of what all the bits mean is on on page 32.
Hope this helps.

Hi Mark,
Do you know what version of 97 ecu it is? Should appear in the comms window when you connect.
Thanks
Rico
