EVO X v.026

Post by evosoh » Mon Aug 10, 2009 3:16 pm

Hi,

I found these tables in the EVO X calibration. Can you please elaborate on ACT T +1, ACT T+2, ACT T -1, ACT T -2 tables.
What do they do? What are they for?

Hope you can help explain, thanks

Hi apologies i must have missed your post,

The Act_T_-/+_1/2 tables are accessed with Act_T_error.
Because of the spring in throttle a different force is required depending on the dierction of error, indeed below the throttle rest point the force is reduced further. The drive is a combination, of current drive, current recirculation, and active breaking. Thus requires 4 states, and the paired 1/2 tables.
All without any intergral term, so quite simple and fast, but quite involved to tune!

It is strongly recommended that these tables are not changed, if the throttle becomes sticky then just possibly these may need adjusting. This is the reason they are not in the manual.

Does this Help?
Thanks
Ed
