This is ONLY used for testing. And depending on mode, can advance timing by 1/4 of an internal tooth. The required way to advance is to reduce the Timing_Alignment by 0.25 teeth. Karl, Yes, I would keep a spare, if using the idle motor for mild Anti-Lag. You can check the winding continuity with an Ohmmeter. Karl, Is your idle motor open in Anti-lag mode? This can cause a heavy build-up of grime, that can prevent valve from resetting and generally slowing it down. Nico, The only wiring issue I could find is your B48.5 MAP sensor ground, is the air temperature input on the GEMS Subaru96 issB ECU.
